Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using Uninflected, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Uninflected is operated by Manicgrin Media Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

Description of service

Uninflected is a free screenwriting tool designed to help writers think visually. We provide online screenplay editing, storage, version control, and export capabilities.

Your content and ownership

You retain full ownership of all screenplays and content you create using Uninflected. We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you create.

We store your content securely using industry-standard encryption, but you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We strongly recommend regularly exporting your work.

Service availability and reliability

Uninflected is provided as a free service. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Service availability or uptime
• Uninterrupted access to the service
• Error-free operation
• Data preservation in the event of technical failures

Whilst we take reasonable measures to maintain service reliability and data integrity, technical issues can occur. We are not liable for any loss of data, work, or opportunity resulting from service interruptions or failures.

Data backup and export

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your work. We provide export tools to allow you to:

• Export individual screenplays as PDF or plain text
• Download all your data in JSON format from your account settings

We strongly recommend exporting your work regularly. In the event of a catastrophic system failure, we cannot guarantee data recovery.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service
• Use automated systems to create accounts or access the service excessively
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain account security.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

Service modifications and termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time
• Impose limits on features or restrict access to parts of the service
• Change these terms of service

If we decide to discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity for you to export your data.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Limitation of liability

This service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manicgrin Media Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the service
• Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of the service
• Any bugs, viruses, or malicious code
• Any loss or corruption of data

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Manicgrin Media Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be announced on the site.
